MICHAEL GEGG
Managing Partner

Michael is the founder of PSM and is a highly analytical and results driven marketer. Before launching PSM, Michael co-founded Storians, an award-creative agency that was named by B2B Marketing as the UK’s fastest growing B2B agency. Pre-Storians, Michael was the global head of marketing for Hay Group, a global management consulting firm, and prior to that spent five and a half years as director of international marketing for Kenexa (now part of IBM), a company he joined following its acquisition of UK-based Psychometric Services, Ltd. (PSL). Michael has over 25 years’ experience in professional services, has led global teams and developed go-to-market strategies in countries throughout the Americas, EMEA and Asia Pacific regions.

DAVID MALKINSON
Marketing Strategist

David has over 25 years experience and a deep understanding of digital product development, marketing and commercial. He has worked for major brands across the HR Tech, HR, recruitment and management consultancy industries including The Adecco Group, Korn Ferry and EY.  David was Chief Marketing Officer for Adecco UK & Ireland and transformed the marketing model demonstrating significant marketing-driven business growth. He also led the global product development team at The Adecco Group, developing innovative  solutions and customer experiences. A little know fact is that David’s early career was in sports marketing where his roles included leading the marketing and commercial partnerships for The Football League.

CLAIRE RAHMATALLAH
Marketing Strategist

Claire is an experienced B2B marketing leader with over 25 years in the HR, recruitment and talent technology sectors, working with both start-up and scaling organisations such as SHL, Talent Q and Sova Assessment. Claire brings a deep understanding of the constantly evolving talent landscape and specialises in helping businesses build their brand, audience and drive business growth. She also coaches and mentors marketing professionals, helping individuals and teams to operate more effectively and thrive in fast-paced environments.

SIAN HARINGTON
Thought Leadership Consultant

Siân’s passion lies in connecting audiences with compelling content. With a 30 plus-year journalism career, she is a trusted voice and thought leader in the HR community. In 2023 she was named Digital Influencer of the Year in the WTW journalism awards. Siân’s roles have spanned some of the UK’s most esteemed business journals. Her previous roles include editor and publisher of HR magazine, board director at Mark Allen Group, senior editor roles at The Grocer and Retail week and non-executive director at leadership institute Roffey Park. One of her most notable achievements is the creation of the annual HR Most Influential list, a benchmark for excellence in the sector, as well as collaborative ventures such as HR in the Boardroom with CEO coach and LinkedIn Influencer Steve Tappin and The Grocer Gold Awards. Siân has authored several insightful papers on HR including The CIPD’s Responsible Investment in Technology Guide (May 2022). She is also the host of the Work’s Not Working… Let’s Fix It! podcast, in which she interviews some of the best HR and future of work brains in the world about what is going wrong in work and what we can do about it. Her extensive senior HR network, garnered over years of immersion in the industry, empowers her to develop content strategies for our clients that not only engage but also inspire HR professionals. Siân’s mission is to make HR and people leaders excited, positive and inspired by the changes taking place in work.

KATIE JACOBS
Thought Leadership Consultant

Katie is an award-winning writer, business journalist and editor. She is a well-regarded commentator on the world of work, HR and leadership and previously worked at the CIPD, where she built the body’s HR leader network from scratch, creating a strong peer community of chief people officers. In her journalism career, she was previously editor of HR magazine, where she was involved in delivering brand extensions such as the HR Excellence Awards, the HR Most Influential ranking and the HR in the Boardroom CHRO development programme, as well as running the day-to-day editorial of the magazine. She has written about the world of work for magazines including People Management, Work and Management Today and newspapers including the Times and the Financial Times. Katie is the co-host of CIPD Work magazine’s popular What If podcast, which puts provocative business questions under the spotlight. She is the co-author of several influential CIPD reports including The Value of People Expertise on Corporate Boards and Responsible Business Through Crisis, a three-year landmark research project with Professor Veronica Hope Hailey exploring the impact of the pandemic on leadership. Katie supports our clients to develop thought leadership including white papers, reports, blogs, articles and podcasts.

HANNAH ROBERTS

Hannah is a CIM qualified marketing professional with over 10 years’ experience across the full marketing mix and a vast range of sectors. With a flare for the creative, Hannah specialises in marketing communications, brand, campaign strategy and management, bringing both products and B2B services to life. With extensive experience in Account Management, Hannah works collaboratively with our clients to build and nurture relationships and build seamlessly integrated marketing plans that meet strategic goals, bolster brand awareness, and educate audiences. When she is not at work, you can find Hannah at the gym, vacationing across the globe and relaxing with a good book!

HAZEL MACLAURIN
Senior Content Writer

Hazel Maclaurin has spent 20 years creating copy, content and strategy that drive commercial outcomes. In that time she’s created and led a global digital content department across US and UK offices; created content strategies for several global professional services firms; created award-winning, commercial thought leadership that’s contributed to more than $1 billion in revenue, and worked on countless brand strategies and digital transformations. She was mentored by Bob Safian, ex-editor of Fast Company in her last global role and her work has won more than 20 awards.

Sarah has worked in the design industry for over 20 years. In 1998 she joined Corporate Edge to work on major brand and identity projects for key clients such as AXA, Gartmore, HMRC and VisitBritain. In 2007 she started LSD Design Limited and has continued to work on branding and identity projects for a wide range of professional services clients. These include global brand implementation for Hay Group, property marketing schemes for Ballymore and St James, high profile international developments in Montenegro and Istanbul and interactive corporate and social responsibility reports for BT and HPE.

Lynsey is a creative, detail-oriented Senior Graphic Designer with 25+ years of experience in branding, digital design, and print media. Pip leads our sister agency, Colour Me Social, who are a team of social media experts, based in Brighton and London, that help professional services firms, of all sizes, to raise brand awareness, grow their social reach and drive increased web traffic. Pip has worked within social media, marketing and sales for over 12 years and has supported hundreds of clients across a huge variety of sectors both in B2B and B2C.
