Event strategy, campaign planning & experience design

NFP’s People & Talent division wanted to do more than show up at events. They wanted to own the room.

With a growing client base and a reputation for delivering impactful coaching, career transition, and talent advisory services, NFP needed a strategic in-person event approach, one that would deepen relationships, attract new prospects, and elevate their presence in the competitive HR consulting space.

OUR APPROACH

We worked alongside the People & Talent team to design and deliver a comprehensive in-person event strategy. This included both owned roundtables and high-profile third-party industry events.

Here’s how we delivered:

Quarterly Roundtable Series for HR Leaders

Developed and launched a series of intimate, fully-booked roundtables targeting senior HR decision-makers

Each session focused on timely and pressing topics for 2025, including:

  • Hybrid working
  • Line manager development
  • Skills-based hiring
  • Workforce resilience

Designed the content and format to spark high-value peer discussion, and positioned each roundtable as a thought leadership platform for NFP

Used each event to nurture new prospects and deepen relationships with existing clients, driving ongoing commercial conversations

CIPD Festival of Work – Stand Strategy & Lead Generation

Led the strategic planning and on-stand activation for NFP at the CIPD Festival of Work

Developed the stand’s central theme: “What’s Your Biggest HR Headache?” — a creative hook to spark curiosity and meaningful conversations

Designed a custom ScoreApp assessment tool, which dynamically adapted questions based on the visitor’s seniority – providing tailored insights and an instant report to their inbox

Created a full campaign plan for pre-event, during, and post-event engagement

Result: Over 90 qualified leads captured during the event, each with personalised data to support meaningful follow-up

CIPD Conferences – Change Management & Recruitment & Retention

Managed NFP’s end-to-end presence at both flagship conferences

At the Change Management Conference, we built a Change Readiness Assessment for delegates to complete live, offering them an instant personalised report and insights

Designed all content, supporting materials, and follow-up workflows to maximise conversion and extend the value of each delegate interaction

Helped position NFP as a credible and visible player in the HR transformation and talent advisory space
